…our perception of ‘poverty’ isn’t anywhere near the harsh reality that it really is…we choose to oversimplify and stereotype the affliction of poverty to fit a certain ‘mold’ because we are too afraid to face up to the brutality that it is…in fact, many of us even look down on the underprivileged…
