Absurd Egoism

…we continue holding on to meaningless misguided superstitious practices of the past as if they were an end in themselves – allowing our fear, hereditary (and other) prejudices, and ignorance to lead the way – refusing to understand that ‘religion’ is nothing more than a ‘way of life’ – not a set of rules and meaningless rituals that need to be observed feverishly to please an unseen, unknown, unreachable deity…giving lip service to ‘religion’ – being the loudest and most enthusiastic in the circus of mundane, repetitive, and meaningless rituals; and not really ‘living’ even the basic fundamentals of that religion, is but a waste of time…

There is no god but…

Faith

The best thing that can happen to a theist is for them to embrace atheism without losing faith in God. The best thing that can happen to an atheist is to surrender atheism without embracing illusions. Contradiction in words is a reflection of its opposite in reality.

When we have no last leg to stand on, we can walk together in the reality of a cool spring day. There is no god, but God.
